However, we felt Aswan is still much more than that.

For this project, Aswan called us with an irresistible allure. There was something undeniably special about this place, an indescribable magnetism that pulled us in. Nestled on the banks of the majestic Nile River, Aswan cast its spell with breathtaking beauty at every turn. The golden sand dunes stretched out before us, their undulating curves whispering tales of ancient times.
But it was the people of Aswan who truly stole our hearts. Their genuine warmth and hospitality makes everyone feel like long-lost friends, welcomed into their vibrant community. That's why we decided to embark on the journey of these photographs, one that attempted to capture the soul of Aswan in all its authenticity. Each photograph became a window into the lives of the people of Aswan, revealing the richness of their emotions, traditions, and everyday moments.
This project, focused on capturing the essence of Aswan through its locals, is solely based on street casting and takes it to a whole new level. The project celebrates the authentic beauty and vibrant spirit of the city by documenting the lives of its people in their natural environment.
