More than 1,000 designers, architects, and creative professionals from more than 50 countries came together for Dubai Design Week’s historic 10th edition to share ideas and showcase the beneficial effects that design can create. The extensive program, which took place throughout Dubai Design District in November, included more than 40 large-scale installations, 10 exhibitions, the first limited editions fair and the region’s premier design fair, talks, more than 60 workshops and masterclasses, a weekend marketplace, and more than 150 activations.
The programming for the yearly festival once again emphasized Dubai’s unwavering dedication to design excellence. The historic 10th edition of Dubai Design Week was centered on designing for a sustainable future. The week’s schedule of events featured a variety of fields, such as interior design, architecture, and product design.

Dubai Design Week began in 2015 and has grown into a significant worldwide design event thanks to factors like growing urbanization, a robust real estate market, infrastructural improvements, economic diversification, and changing aesthetic demands and tastes among locals, companies, and visitors. Its forward-thinking programming, dedication to innovation, and nurturing of local talent played a part in establishing Dubai as a flourishing international hub for design and creativity in the Middle East—all factors in its success. It has developed into a venue for up-and-coming, trailblazing, and seasoned designers to exhibit their work, network with business leaders, and obtain recognition in the Middle East and abroad.
Downtown Design, the main event of Dubai Design Week, was once more held at its home on the d3 Waterfront Terrace. Known as the premier fair for modern, high-quality design in the area, Downtown Design featured the newest collections, cutting-edge goods, and design solutions. It also features a variety of imaginative pop-up concepts, installations, and networking opportunities in addition to a schedule of masterclasses and talks at The Forum. For individuals looking for the newest styles in furniture, lighting, home accessories, and interior design, Downtown Design is the best place to go.
In keeping with Dubai Design District’s strong commitment to fostering an encouraging ecosystem, the historic edition of Dubai Design Week brought the design community together to offer an international platform to promote regional creative talent, sustainable design, and innovation. With a wide variety of exhibits and activities demonstrating the ability of design to influence the world around us, last year’s festival was an exciting and motivating experience for all attendees.
